Mancat Monday - Award and Romantic Karaoke

One of my favorite mancats, Jimmy Joe, passed an award to me! Here it is!

This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.

WOW! I am so excited to get this! As you kitties know, I've been a little . . . well, let's be honest . . . I've been A LOT behind in visiting my friends. Mommy finds time over the weekend to help me set up my blog, but she doesn't always find time to help me visit my friends.

And now for the hard part . . . which 8 kitties should I give it to? So many of my friends are pawsome, plus since I haven't visited much recently I'm not sure who has already received this award.

  1. Adan and Lego
  2. Captain Jack, Sir Dante, and Fagin
  3. My sweetie-pie Samantha and her pawsome brother Mr. Tigger
  4. Vampy Vic
  5. My look-alike cuz JB
  6. Mickey, Georgia, and Tillie
  7. The lovely Parker
  8. Miss Marilyn Monreow
In other news, mommy is up for an even busier few weeks. She has a mid-term project to work on for her Adolescent Development class, plus the Spring Semester is always her busiest time at work. AND, if you can believe this, Grandmama's car got sick on Saturday and scared Grandmama (and mommy), so Grandmama's car is now in the car hospital and probably won't get to come home until late this afternoon. Since the car they used to use as emergency back-up is sick too, mommy took the day off work to play taxi driver for Grandmama and Uncle Sean. Mommy is super grateful that where she works is nice about things like this. My paws are definitely crossed that Grandmama's car is all better soon!

And since this week is going to be so busy (and Saturday is Valentine's Day!) I conferred with my furry siblings and came up with some pawsomely romantic songs to post for the next few days. So, here is the first one!

Here is John Denver singing one of the most romantic songs ever written. It always makes me and my mommy get all leaky-eyed when we hear it, because it is so beautiful.

Thankful Thursday and Award

Many grateful thanks to Diamond and her new tabby brother for giving me this totally pawsome award!

I know a lot of kitties have already received this award, but I just wanted to pass this on to the entire catblogosphere for being such wonderful and supportive friends!

Mommy is also grateful for all of the great advice (and sympathy) she's gotten over Ivy's new "Velcro Kitty" situation. She is planning on looking into getting the calming spray to see if that helps. Mommy managed to work in an extra hour of sleep the other night before Ivy started her forceful lovefest, so she has her fingers crossed that it may be getting a wee bit better. I have my paws crossed, too, because I want my mommy back!

(Mommy says she can forgive the ex-Almost Dad for a lot of things, but she can't forgive him for breaking her baby girl's heart.)

PS: Keep your paws crossed that Mommy finds gas today, otherwise she'll have to miss work tomorrow, and she's pretty hissed off about that.

Thursday Awards and a Special Visit

Kitties, I don't know if you have noticed it, but my mommy has been pretty lax in helping me blog lately. Sometimes I get to visit all of my friends, but most often I don't. And then there are all these great things like AWARDS that my friends are nice enough to give me, and then Mommy doesn't help me put them on my blog or thank them or give out the awards OR ANYTHING! Last night I had a heart to heart talk with my mommy, and after I explained to her how I felt (and put the bitey on her nose) she finally told me she was sorry and she helped me with my blog.

I would like to thank my totally pawsome friend EG for giving me this GREAT award!

Here are the rules:
Give this award to five friends (and only 5) who are dedicated followers of your blog - one has to be a new blogger in a different part of the world. Link back to whoever gave you this award.
We're going to tag:

Hmm . . . this might be hard. (The last requirement, anyway.)
I want to give this award to:

  1. My sweet Sammie-pie and her mancatly brother Tig
  2. Camie's Kitties
  3. Parker
  4. Victor the Vampire Kitty (you know how my mommy loves vampires!)
  5. And for my new blogging friend who lives in a different part of the world, I'd like to give this award to Castle's new brother Timmy! Welcome to your new forever home, Timmy!
Phew!

And Beau Beau and Angie gave me this award! And so did Scotchy, Stryder, and Sugar! And Praline! WOW!!!! I am SO honored!

Here are the rules for this one:
1. The winner can put the logo on his/her blog
2. Link the person you received your award from

3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs

4. Put links of those blogs on yours, and

5. Leave a message on the blogs that you've nominated

Okey dokey . . . here we go again . . . it is always so hard to choose!

  1. Dr. Tweety and the Fab Five
  2. The Purrageous Pirates
  3. Sweet Praline (right back at ya! ;) )
  4. Zoolatry
  5. Jimmy Joe
  6. Kazuko Neko
  7. The Royal Kitties
Ok . . .I think I am done with the awards now. If you gave me one and I missed putting it here or mentioning you, I am VERY sorry . . . and I'll make sure to put the bitey on mommy extra hard for her neglect. Promise.

Now . . . for my very special visitor!

Today and tomorrow, Praline's mommy is going to be here in Atlanta. Which means that her mommy is abandoning her AGAIN.

I am sure we can all agree on how absolutely unacceptable this behavior is! Therefore I have invited Praline to come and visit ME while her mommy is here having fun without her. So Praline and I can have fun without our mommies!

I have hidden the nip from Ivy, and I've gotten all my mousies together . . . I have fresh temptations . . . extra stinky goodness . . . and soft blankies to nap on. Am I forgetting anything? Do I need to do anything else to get ready for Praline's visit?

Oh, I can't wait!!!

Friday Movie Review - An American Tail

Today I have a very special Reader's Request, because it doesn't come from a kitty! It comes from a bean named Jason who lives like a squillion miles away. He is my mommy's friend. They instant message each other lots. I don't know much about him, because I've never talked to him or met him, but I know he is a math major in college and he has a doggie named Hunter. And he reads my movie reviews! I feel honored that someone outside of our kitty blogging world pays attention to my blog, so I thought I would review his movie for him today. Jason wanted me to review "An American Tail," because he was interested to know what a kitty's opinion of it would be.

An American Tail (1986)
Directed By: Don Bluth
Written By: Judy Freudberg

This story is about Fievel Mousekewitz and his adventure as his family immigrates from Russia to the United States. The Mousekewitz family decides to leave their homeland because they are being terrorized by the Russian kitties, and they have heard that there are no kitties in America. As they travel across the ocean in their boat, Fievel is washed overboard during a terrible storm and is separated from his family. Luckily, Fievel survives and lands ashore near the Statue of Liberty. Fievel manages to make some new friends quickly, and begins his search for his family.

Kitties, if your mommy is as weepy as my mommy is, you may not be able to watch this movie with them. My mommy can't watch without getting upset and leaky-eyed. Also, if you aren't willing to admit that maybe some kitties are less than perfect furries, you probably shouldn't watch this movie either. There is really only one decent and friendly kitty in this movie, a ginger mancat named Tiger. Other than him, kitties are portrayed as bad and evil furries. I suppose this might be fair from a mousie's perspective, but it certainly doesn't feel good to see your furry kind cast in the role of evil and corrupt despots.

If you can overlook the slur to all of kitty-kind, this is a great movie. It is based, of course, on the surge of immigration to America from Russia in the early 20th century. The kitties represent the corrupt and tyrannical aspects of government/society, both in Russia and in the United States at that time. For any bean or kitty who is in to History as much as my mommy is, you will enjoy watching the parallels. This movie is not only safe but is also educational for sticky little beans, kittens, and puppies. However, I have to warn you that some bits are a little bit scary, and parts of it are super upsetting, like when Fievel is first separated from his family.

I give "An American Tail" two paws up and a chirp for being not only family friendly, but providing a unique perspective of bean history. (I also throw in one little hiss for not having more nice kitties in the film.)

And don't forget that the movie gave us this great song!

(Be prepared to get leaky-eyed.)

In other news, I almost forgot to thank Karen Jo for giving me this totally pawsome award! Karen Jo has a great blog devoted to limericks for us kitties, and she is a very caring and creative ladybean. That's why it means so much to me that she gave me this award because she enjoys visiting and reading my blog. Wow, Karen Jo, you are the best!

Mancat Monday

Happy Mancat Monday, kitties! Mommy still has a headache (hurricane season always means migraine season for mommy), and she has been a little busy, so my post is late today. I forgive her, though, because I've gotten lots of snuggles from her to make up for the neglect last week. She even slept with her arm around me all night last night! I am one happy mancat.

I am also super happy and excited that Tara gave me this wonderful award! This is the second time I've received this award for my Movie Reviews. I'm so happy and excited I can't stop chirping!

I also want to say good luck to Chica and Pumuckl and their human mommy Ana! They are leaving Egypt behind and moving to Germany soon. Everykitty should go by their blog and wish them a happy and safe journey!

Mancat Monday - The Blahs

Well kitties, today I have another bad case of the Monday blahs.

The good thing about the 4th of July weekend was that I had mommy for three whole days.

The bad thing about this weekend was that mommy was sick all weekend and had to go to the doctor Thursday afternoon for what she calls "sinus crud" and a fever.

Mommy is back at work today, but still feels pretty nasty. She has this annoying cough that can even keep a kitty from napping. I can't imagine what it is doing to her.

So to perk mommy up, I thought I would post a picture of one of her favorite things: my cute little nose.

Mommy LOVES my nose and mouth and whiskers. She has to tickle my cheeks all the time and tell me how cute I am and give me kisses. I let her do it because I'm a generous mancat.

In other happier news, Karen Jo gave me this totally AWESOME award!

"The 'Arte y Pico' award was created and to be given to bloggers who inspire others with their creative energy and their talents, whether it be writing, artwork in all media's. When you receive this award it is considered a 'special honor'. Once you have received this award, you are to pass it on to at least 5 others." Karen Jo honored me with this award for my Friday Movie Reviews! Thanks so much, Karen Jo! I am so happy that you enjoy them.

Karen Jo is right. The hardest part is deciding who to pass this great award on to! After much careful thought, I would like to present this award to:

Marilyn Monroew
, for her creative work in poetry.
The McKittencats, for sponsoring their dad's GREAT short story on their bloggie.
Gandalf and Grayson, for the GREAT story we all got to contribute to last week.
Kashim and Othello, for their wonderful graphic work that they share with all of us on the catblogosphere.
And last but not least, the gang at Whiskers and Purrs, for their unique and creative way of blogging. They always put a smile on my face!

Mancat Monday Thanks

Happy Mancat Monday, everykitty! This Monday I am VERY thankful. I am thankful my grandpapa was able to go back to work this morning, before he drove grandmama crazy. I am thankful I got to see Almost Dad this weekend and get some skritches, even if he did try to hog all of my usual napping spots. I am thankful mommy cooked her veggie beef soup this weekend, so that I could sneak out the best bits from her bowl when she was otherwise distracted. I am glad that grandmama came over and actually GAVE me bits of beef from her soup, because she knows that grandmamas are supposed to spoil their grandbabies. But most of all, I am thankful for all of you wonderful kitties! I have made so many wonderful friends, and it warms my very heart to know that there are so many wonderful furries and beans out there. So . . . THANKS!

Thanks to my darling Sammie-Pie and her great mancatly brother Mr. Tigger for giving me this great award!

I would like to pass it along to Camie's Kitties and the Purrageous Pirates.

Thanks to Karl and The Cat Realm for passing this award to all of us who visit them! I feel very honored to be Karl's "Valued Friend."

And now, I would like to share a niptini with all of my wonderful friends! Let's all have a relaxed and nipped out Monday, everykitty! I am sure we all deserve it. Cheers!

Wordy Wednesday

(Mommy helped make this into a wallpaper. Clicky and download if you like!)

My mommy wanted to tell everykitty and their parents how much she appreciated their well-wishes and purrs. She thinks she cracked her tailbone in that nasty fall, and driving to work and sitting all day is no fun as a result, but she can tell that all the purrs are really working!

The twins and I have a lot of catching up to do . . . so . . . here goes!

First, I would like to thank the wonderfully creative Sassy for bestowing upon me this wonderful award.

This award is given to those kitties who have consistently done an excellent job of blogging, and making the rest of us laugh, cry, and think. I would like to pass this award along to several interesting and worthy kitties.
  1. Miss Peach, for always being such a caring and loving kitty to both her parents and her friends. We love you, Miss Peach!
  2. Zippy, Sadie, and Speedy, for always making me laugh. I hope things calm down at your house soon so that we can visit you more often!
  3. Tripper, the Psyko Stray for making me think. Sometimes after I read his blog I have to think really hard. (But mostly I just laugh.)
  4. And last but not least, the kitties at Artsy Catsy. Even with their busy schedules, they still manage to keep us up to date.

And the wonderful Karen Jo tagged me for a meme! I've done it before, but I love having the chance to do it again. Also, the Terrible Tortie Twins were tagged for this same meme by Molly, and let me tell you, they are SUPER excited about it! Here are the rules:

You have to post who tagged you and link back to them and then to Petspix. Then you have to tag 3 other kitties, beans, woofies, or any other assorted animal. What three things would you do that you have never done before, if you knew you wouldn't get caught, get in trouble, or suffer any consequences?

Ok, my answers this time are:

  1. I would learn to drive a car, so that I could take Samantha out with me and we could go get yummy food from those drive-thru places and eat until we popped! I hear you can get fish and chicken that way. . . and mommy always brings me back straws when she goes!
  2. Speaking of straws, I would get a squillion straws and put them all in a great big pile and then lay on top of them. No one would take them away from me or throw them away. Instead, everyone would admire me for my treasure.
  3. I would grow a green paper tree so that my mommy wouldn't have to go to work to hunt the green papers everyday. That way she would stay home with me. Oh, and everyday would be pajama day! Pajama day always means more snuggling.

Holly says:

  1. I would make every door in the house have an easier latch thingy, so I could slap them all open instead of having to learn how to turn knobs. No room would ever be safe from my exploration!
  2. I would go outside and hunt those naughty squirrels! They are forever coming up on my porch to stare back at me through the window and taunt me with their chattering and their fluffy, twitchy tails. I'd show them!
  3. I'd have a room all to myself, filled with catnip and grandmama's shoes! Oooooh . . . they smell so good and make me so happy that I just have to bunnykick and purr . . . . and then bunnykick some more!

Ivy says:

  1. I would go down to the basement as much as I liked and explore, explore, explore!
  2. I would run out the door into the backyard as much as I liked and explore, explore, explore!
  3. I would whap as many things as I liked without getting in trouble and climb the blinds and curtains as much as I wanted and eat as much of the doggie stinky goodness as my tummy could hold!

Since I don't think there are 9 kitties that we know out there who haven't done this meme yet, each of us will just tag one kitty.

Tybalt tags his darling tuxie princess, Samantha!

Holly tags Socks, because she wants to know him better!

Ivy tags Java, because she thinks he is a handsome mancat!

Tortie Tuesday with Tybalt

Darling Samantha, would you like to snuggle?

A lot of excitement has been going on for the past week or so. Karl and Ruis had a romantic Antarctic cruise, and they brought back presents for everyone! Thanks so much! I have named him Bertrand, and I plan to place him on mommy's bed where I snuggle every night.

Also, Tara and Kavan gave me an award! Thanks! I feel super special!

I have already given this award to a few kitties, but as we all know, there are lots of deserving kitties out there! So I now give this award to:

Monty Q. Kat for being a mancat on the move . . . just hopefully not on the move outdoors again! That was scary.

Abby for being an adorable tuxie with spunk! (And a founder of the secret club I have now joined.)

Now, the Terrible Tortie Twins have been expressing some jealousy over how many "glamour shots" mommy takes of me. I have to say that I think it has only gotten worse since they've seen the romance blooming between me and my tuxie princess. In order to appease them, I had mommy attempt to do glamour shots of Holly and Ivy . . . "attempt" because they are not as professional as I am about posing.

Holly:

Ivy:

Notice they are both sporting their best "come-hither" looks. I wonder if they are looking for their own valentines . . .

PS: Annie is home! All of our purrayers worked!

Wordy Wednesday

Wow! I have been popular this week! It's enough to make a prince blush. =^_^=

Thanks to the wonderful kitties Pearl, Bert, and Jake for giving me this award!

Here are the rules:

1. You must write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think.

2. Acknowledge this post.

3. Optional: Proudly display the 'Thinking Blogger Award' with a link to the post that you wrote.

4. Go tell your humans to fork over the treats!

Goodness! There are so many kitties that I love! It is hard to nominate just five, but I will give it a good try . . .

I nominate:

Pixel the Kitty

HRH Yao-Lin

The Meezers, Sammy and Miles

Samantha and Tigger

Captain Jack and Sir Dante

I was also tagged by The Zoo to do the "7 Weird Things" meme once again. Since I already did it this week, I am going to hand it over to my sisters Holly and Ivy. Here are the rules:

Link to the person that tagged you and post the rules on your blog. Share seven random and/or weird facts about yourself. Tag seven random people at the end of your post, and include links to their blogs. Let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a notification on their blog.

Ok kitties . . . I am now handing it over to the Terrible Tortie Twins!

1) We are very territorial kitties. We do not like to even see another kitty outside our front door! When Grandmama's kitties Sebastian and Leon visit our porch, we puff up and hiss and growl. Tybalt likes seeing them, though.

2) We love doggies! Loki has gotten grumpy with us lately, but Dana still lets us love on her to our hearts' content.

3) Holly likes to drink out of the doggies' water bottles that mommy keeps in their crates. As soon as mommy lets the doggies out, she can hear Holly *lick lick lick lick* at the bottles.

4) Ivy insists that mommy leave the empty can of doggie stinky goodness in the sink every night after she feeds the doggies. Then Ivy dips her paw in the can to get any that is left. She thinks it is yummy.

5) Actually, both Holly and Ivy LOVE doggie stinky goodness!

6) Ivy chirps and trills, especially when she is being naughty. She always tells on herself. Holly rarely makes any noise, but lately she's been yowling at night . . . just when mommy gets in bed. She thinks it is fun.

7) Holly only sleeps on the bed with mommy if it is VERY cold outside. Ivy always sleeps with mommy, unless it is VERY hot.

Since I've done this several times now, I won't pass it on to any specific kitty, but if you like the idea and want to do it, consider yourself tagged!

Happy Wednesday, kitties!

PS: Vesper seems to be using the litterbox more, so keep your paws crossed!

Mancat Monday plus Meme and Award!

Pearl, Bert, and Jake tagged me for a meme! Here are the rules:

Link to the person that tagged you and post the rules on your blog. Share seven random and/or weird facts about yourself. Tag seven random people at the end of your post, and include links to their blogs. Let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a notification on their blog.

1) I never knew I loved feathers until I received my secret paws! As you can see in my picture, it is LOVE LOVE LOVE!

2) At night I sleep next to my mommy, and most of the time I insist that she have her arm wrapped around me as we fall asleep. I like to have my head on her shoulder.

3) I love to watch television, especially cartoons. Sometimes I watch Animal Planet with interest, but most of the time I watch Cartoon Network.

4) I love to have popcorn when I watch movies with mommy, but I don't eat it. I just like to steal it out of the bowl and play with it.

5) When I am happy (like when I see mommy or visit the food bowl) I stand and knead with my paws and chirp.

6) My sisters love doggies more than I do. I put up with them, but they aren't my favorite furries to be around.

7) I love to steal mommy's sweaters and socks and suck on them. I even chew holes in them if she doesn't catch me at it in time. Grandmama looked this up on the internet and told me I'm a "wool-sucker." It means I was taken away from my kitty mommy too early.

I tag my lovely princess Samantha and her handsome brother Tigger, Ivy's crush Bendrix, Holly's fellow tortie polydactyl Georgia, my new doggie friend Asta, the interesting house panther Diamond Emerald-Eyes, and Kellie the Orange Cat, who never ceases to make my mommy laugh!

Oh! And I also got this great award from my "cousins" Captain Jack and Dante Barbossa! (My mommy helped my Auntie Cat name Dante . . . which makes him super special in my book!)

The Extraordinary Gold Star Award was created by - Storm, The Furry Fighter - and is for Bloggers who have achieved or done something special. The award celebrates beyond what is ordinary or usual.
1) Post the explanation and rules of the award and link back to the blogger who presented you with the award and repeat the reason why you received it.
2) Pass the Award on to two other Bloggers who you fink deserve it and explain why!

First off, I would like to pass this award on to Sassy, because she has gone above and beyond the call of duty with her Little Productions and CCSI! Because of her, I have met so many other interesting furries, and I have felt even more a part of the blogging community. Thanks so much, Sassy!

I would also like to give this award to Icon Baxter Bentley. Icon is a great mancat, and a role model for his newly acquired foster kits to look up to! I'm sure we all remember the hard times he has recently had to go through, but he has kept his humor the whole time. I admire his resilience and upbeat attitude towards life. This one is for you, Icon!

The Terrible Twins

Before I introduce you to my two sisters, let me announce that Captain Jack and Dante have honored me with an award! I am so excited! I am purring as I type. Here it is!

I would like to share this award with some of my new friends! Momo, who is also new at blogging, and Derby who welcomed me and had his owner take pics of pretty things while she was driving in her metal monster! If I could, I would give it to everyone, but I think most of you have already received this award, anyway. That's how wonderful we kitties are! =^_^=

I also want to thank all of the wonderful kitties who welcomed me! I purred all night, I was so happy and excited! My sisters couldn't wait to get introduced today. They knocked over mommy's trash first thing this morning in celebration.

The title of this post is "Terrible Twins" because that is what my mommy calls my two sisters, Holly and Ivy. They are two very, very naughty kitties. Sometimes they even draw me into their diabolical schemes! Even though I am a prince, I am still their little brother, and there is two of them and only one of me. I try to remind mommy about that everytime she catches us. I don't think that explanation works for her really well, though. I am going to have to work on my innocent look more.

Holly and Ivy just turned three years old on September 30. We celebrated with tuna, and mommy and grandmama sang Happy Birthday. Mommy always celebrates our birthdays so nicely! Later on, when mommy went to bed, we all celebrated more by opening all the drawers in the kitchen to see if we could find anything new to play with. Like I said, my sisters are naughty.
Holly and Ivy were adopted by mommy when she was celebrating her first Christmas in her very own house. At the time, Mommy was just living with Loki, my doggie brother. He was a handful and she knew he needed a friend, plus mommy was missing having a purring kitty in her lap. Mommy found out that her cousin was fostering some kittens that had been abandoned on the side of the road, and she took this as a sign that she needed to adopt a Christmas kitten. When mommy first saw the kittens, they were tiny and starved, with little scrawny tails. They looked so pitiful! But she noticed that nothing was stopping them from running and playing and trying to steal food from people's plates. Mommy soon learned that the kittens had been living with a pig, and having to fight it for meals! Grandmama says this explains the twins' manners (or lack thereof). Although mommy had only intended to take one kitten home, she adopted both sisters, and Grandmama helped to name them Holly and Ivy. As soon as they arrived in their new home, Holly and Ivy settled in and began their reign of terror.

This is Ivy.

She may not be the naughtiest of the two, but she is the one that gets caught the most. She tries to use her big eyes to look innocent, but mommy knows better. Ivy gets caught red-pawed too often for mommy to believe that she is an angel! Ivy likes to believe that she is mommy's favorite. She loves to get in mommy's lap and snuggle up to her at night. She also stretches out her paw to pat mommy on the face, in an effort to make herself more endearing, I'm sure. Mommy would find this much more cute if Ivy didn't have litterbox issues. Ivy's paw does not always smell so nice or look so clean. When Ivy was a kitten, she had some tummy problems. Loki says that when she would use the litterbox he would cry and howl and beg mommy to let him outside so that he could escape the smell! Mommy tried all sorts of different types of food in an effort to end everyone's misery. Finally, Ivy's tummy settled down, and we haven't had a stinky house in quite awhile. Ivy still hasn't mastered covering up in the litterbox. Her sister usually goes in right after her to tidy up. Occasionally, Ivy even flings poo! I think Ivy secretly believes that she is a monkey. Just see how she likes to climb! This is Ivy being naughty and climbing on top of mommy's tv in order to attack Pepe Le Pew. Even though she knows it is forbidden, she does this at least once a night.

This is Holly. She is being naughty, too, and planning an attack on Puss n Boots.

Holly is extra special, because she has thumbs! Holly likes to use those thumbs to make it harder for mommy to get away when she wants to give her some serious love and attention. Mommy says Holly has an incredible grip. Because of her extra toes and the claws that don't retract all the way, you can hear Holly walking on the hardwood floors. *CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK* Grandmama says that Holly sounds like a velociraptor (just like in that scary big lizard movie Jurassic Park!) Holly is an expert at opening cabinets and drawers. She would make a great burglar kitty. Holly doesn't want to be a burglar, though. She wants to be something called a familiar. Holly thinks my mommy should be a witch so that she can help her cast spells and ride on broomsticks. I got upset at Holly for saying that, because my mommy is not bad! She is a sweet mommy! Holly just smiled at me and told me not all witches were bad. I don't know if I believe her or not. Sometimes when Holly is nesting and she has her eyes half shut in contemplation, I just know that she is thinking dark and mysterious thoughts. I refuse to allow her to corrupt my mommy!

Just look at her! She is planning something.

This is me shunning Holly and her dark plans for my mommy.

That is it for my kitty sisters! Tomorrow I plan to share more about Loki. Thanks again, everyone, for such a wonderful welcome! I can't wait to read what everyone is up to today!
