Thankful Thursday - Secret Paws

DANA: OHMIGOSHOHMIGOSHOHMIGOSHOHMIGOSH!
LOKI AND I GOT OUR SECRET PAWS!
OHMIGOSHOHMIGOSHOHMIGOSHOHMIGOSH!

LOKI: It was very exciting. You can just see how thrilled I was that a package finally came for me in the mail. You know, before all of the other furry babies were adopted, I'd get all the packages to myself. Nowadays Tybalt gets more mail than I do . . . and when I get mail, I have to share it with Dana. Not that I don't love Dana . . . but it just isn't the same.

LOKI: Everything smelled great, too. That box was just full of treats . . . greenie chewies and cookies . . . wonderful gastronomic delights!

DANA: It was so YUMMY I couldn't WAIT!!! I WANT IT NOWNOWNOWNOW!!!!!!

LOKI: I have to admit that Mommy took her own sweet time helping us open the box and unwrap our presents. She can be so slow. And yes, I am embarrassed to admit that my mommy was still wearing her Mickey Mouse pajamas in these pictures. I believe my mommy would LIVE in pajamas if the world would let her.

DANA: AND BILLY!!!! JUST LOOK!!!!! I GOT A SQUEAKY TOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOKI: I do love a good squeaky, myself. These toys were just the right size to carry around, and they give a good loud SQUEAK.

DANA: AND THEN! BILLY! FAGIN! I TOOK THEM BOTH!!!! I GOT LOKI'S TOO!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

LOKI: Thanks to Riley Dog for our wonderful Secret Paws!
DANA: OHMIGOSHOHMIGOSHOHMIGOSH! RILEY DOG! YOU ARE PAWSOME!!!!!!!!!!

Thankful Thursday - Secret Paws!

This week my sisters and I got our SECRET PAWS!!!!

We were so excited!

We were even MORE excited when we found out who our Secret Paws was . . . TESLA!!!!!

Tesla, you did a super PAWSOME job shopping for us! Jingly balls and catnip and even a super cool stocking! We love everything!

Here is how the Secret Paws went down . . .

All three of us had to sniff the box and get excited, and then snoopervise mommy while she opened it for us.

And then we read who it was from and got even more excited!

And OH MY PAWS AND WHISKERS! Is that a whole tub of nip?! And jingly balls?!

I can't wait to keep mommy up all night whapping these!

What a totally pawsome stocking! No, mommy, you can't steal it for your own. It is OURS.

And . . . the pièce de resistance . . . . TUB O' NIP!

It's sooooooooooo wonderful . . .

Even Holly lost her cool and rolled and drooled on the lid.

Thanks so much, Tesla!!!!!

Back at Last!

Hello Kitties! Yes, I am back at last! Mommy had to go back to work, which means I finally get to blog again. We had a great Christmas, which I will tell you more about later. Today's post belongs to Loki and Dana and their Secret Paws! They received it just in time . . . Christmas Eve! They were very excited to get it. Their Secret Paws came from Bogdan and all the kitties at the Morning Scratch . . . and I must say, they did a wonderful job shopping for doggies. Dana and Loki received peanut butter cookie treats and tennis balls and toys . . . everything was so great that they couldn't decide what they wanted to play with first. Loki and Dana want to thank Bogdan and the Morning Scratch for all the great presents. They love it all!

Here is Loki checking out the Secret Paws package. He loves getting mail!

Here is Dana coming to see what all the fuss is about. You can tell by the look in Loki's eye that he wasn't really wanting to share with her. Sometimes he thinks Dana is a bratty baby sister.

Thanks again, everyone! Between the Secret Paws and all the Holiday cards we received, it was a very special Christmas for everyone at my house! Happy New Year!

Mancat Monday - Anticipation

I tell you, kitties, it is hard for a mancat to retain his stoic demeanor this time of year. How can a kitty be strong and silent when he knows that in just a few weeks Sandy Paws will be coming to fill his stocking with catnip mousies?! This will only be my second Christmas. Last year I was just a kitten and didn't know what Christmas was all about. I had heard about Sandy Paws from my sisters, but I had no idea how exciting it all really was. Last year I had no clue what was waiting for me. This year I do, and it is making the wait that much harder.
I am sad to report that my mommy did leave me on Saturday, but she was back by early afternoon. She was home in time to watch "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" with me. However, she was busy wrapping presents and I had to help supervise her work, so it wasn't all snuggle time on the couch. Ivy was naughty and found some kitty toys in the shopping bags and stole one. Mommy had to chase her down the hall to get it back. Ivy is lucky mommy laughed at her for that . . . otherwise Sandy Paws might have decided Ivy was too naughty to get anything in her stocking!
Mommy was nice and left the dining room door open all afternoon on Saturday, so we three kitties had plenty of time to spend with our tree. We supervised how mommy put presents underneath it, and moved them around if they weren't placed to our liking. Dana found one of Ivy's wrapped presents and ran off with it! Mommy took it away from her and explained it wasn't her present, and that we all had to wait anyway. I don't think any of us furries can stand it. The excitement is killing us!
I am super excited this week because our holiday cards finally arrived on Saturday. Mommy is helping me to address them today, and then they will get sent out this week. Our Secret Paws is also getting mailed this week. I hope they like their presents! We had a lot of fun shopping for them.
I wish patience and peace to all furries this Holiday Season.

Mancat Monday - I'm Back!

Hello everykitty! I am finally back. Mommy can't be lazy anymore because her vacation is over. It was wonderful. There was lots of snuggling on the couch and even some HAM! We slept in late, cuddled in front of the fire, and decorated for Christmas. Our stockings are hung up so Sandy Paws can come visit us and leave us good kitties and doggies toys and yummies. I was excited to see that so many of you stopped by to visit my blog even when I hadn't updated it! That made me feel special. Also, I was excited to FINALLY check my email (thanks again, lazy mommy!) and found out that our Secret Paws is here! We are all excited about that, kitties and doggies alike! I can't wait to start shopping.

Since I got so much positive respone to a kitty version of "Phantom of the Opera," I may give serious consideration to starting a casting call for "Kitty of the Opera," with a weekly installment of the screenplay for all of us kitties to enjoy. Let me know what you all think!
