when a kitty finally has to cave and put word verifications in for the comments on his blog because spammers have decided to have their spammy fun spamming up his blog.
Sigh.
PS: There is still some "using the couch as a litter box" going on, but it seems to have slowed down some this week. Mommy still has no clue who the culprit is, and we still aren't talking.

We got fed up of spammers on our blog too. And they never brought us any spam!
We found even with word verification some still got through so we had to turn on comment moderation
We have comment moderation turned on after 3 days. We get an occasional spammer which I have to go and put the bitey on and push the delete button with my paw, but it keeps them out of my old posts. We still have word verification turned off just to make it easier for our furriends.

I still had an x rated comment after I started using the word verification, but thankfully, it hasn't happened again...About 5-6 people read it and mentioned it in their comments to me, I felt very embarrassed!...If it does happen again, I will start reading them before posting...Happy weekend friends...J, Calle, Halle, Sukki
Spammers are so annoying!
sigh. How come we can't give these jerks the same in return? Maybe they'd learn what it feels like to be spammed.
Most of the time I find those spammers are trying to leave comments on OLD posts????
Why they do that I don't know,but I use comment moderation on posts over 3 days.
I do get some Chinese religious comments which don't make any sense when translated into English. Don't know what's up with that, but my spammers have been (fingers crossed) pretty small.

We were getting a lot of spam lately too. Why do humans have to be so rude??
I've been very lucky so far (knocking on wood) and haven't had any spammers. However, I've always used the word verification.
Spammers are BAD! I had to turn on comment moderation for posts over 2 days old, because I found out my old posts were getting loaded with spam.
